I went to eat dinner to Taj Palace my favorate Indian restaurant in Itaewon.
Shokat was at the restaurant! :) Looking so happy and bright after selling his headach-giving-second restaurant in MyeongDong branch finally!
He used to own Wazwan by the Islam mosque long time ago then sold that and opened Taj Palace.
After Taj Palace's big sucess he opened second Taj Palace in MyeongDong.
But it was giving him lots of headache due to Korean customers' heavy demands on beers and alcohol beverage sales which was against his religion belief. Finally he told me he found new owner who took over that sucessful second one. Who might that be...he or she is lucky!! Because it was really nice as well and new owner got a great deal. :) Shokat is now happy from the fact that he doesn't have to deal with alcohol complains from Korean customers anymore! ;))
He also offers weekend buffet which is great deal! But my boy friend and I like hot fresh food right out of the kitchen so today we ordered from the menu. :) ALWAYS GREAT FOOD AND SERVICE! :))
